Siegfried Wagner is a Medical Research Council Clinical Research Training Fellow and ophthalmologist based at the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at University College London and Moorfields Eye Hospital. Inspired as a medical student by the role of eye exams in diagnosing people with HIV and Tuberculosis in South Africa, Siegfried uses statistical modelling and artificial intelligence techniques to understand how changes in our eyes can represent overall health, from heart disease to dementia.
