Having seen oceans heal first hand, underwater photographer – Jorge Cervera- will talk about ‘Hope Spots’ in oceans and use visual evidence to show how human actions have led to the recovery of many oceanic spots in different places. Winner of award-winning nature documentary México Pelágico, Jorge Cervera is an underwater photographer and has been actively involved with an NGO that helps save oceans. He started Pelagic Fleet, an adventure travel company committed in exploring and protecting the ocean. Jorge has been featured in Wired Magazine, Natgeo among others, and has been an ambassador for Discovery Channel, Nauticam, and the Outdoor Journal.
